Few decisions are irrevocable except having kids, so I would try to be in the moment and appreciate the lovely space you are in, and your relationship, and see where life takes you. There are a million cities you could move to and friends you could make if you decide to change direction. Your 20s are years where there are still so many open-ended possibilities and directions you can take, so soak in that fabulous tub (I am envious) and make the most of this particular choice knowing it doesn't have to be a permanent one. Thanks for the video.

i feel like busy city-life can be romanticized and glamorized, when in reality it's possible to feel just as isolated in a big city as in a more remote area. i moved from a big city to a smaller city 3 years ago because i knew i needed to live somewhere more peaceful and slower paced. i sometimes felt fomo, but really i knew that my soul needed the change. now i'm actually about to move back to the big city and i feel like i leveled up and grew enough to be excited for city life again. it makes so much sense you're feeling all these doubts and fears around this life change, but it helps me to remember that nothing is permanent! two years in such a beautiful space will fly by. also, i love your space and aesthetic so much, it brings me peace to watch you fill your new home and it excites me to think about that chapter in my life when i'll be done with apartment living, haha!

I feel like you shouldn't pressure yourself about your age! Your youth does not end when you're entering your thirties or forties, even if its kind of a social thing unfortunately. Your decision of living far from the city has it's own meaning to you and your partner, so enjoy this particular fragment of your life :) I understand that it's a big change for you both and it's so easy to start doubting your choices, but you shouldn't compare your life with everyone else's. Enjoy the quiet, the peace, the nature and learn something from it! You don't know where you'll be in five years and that's the beauty of life! Love your videos and your new journey!!

We moved into our first house right when we turned 30. We had kids; we were 26 and 28 when they were born, which was considered “old.” Even getting married at 23 was old then. Thirty is actually so young! I love how you’re furnishing and accessorizing the house.

It’s been refreshing to see new changes happening and although it can almost seem like your unsure of what’s going on, the best advise I’ve ever received is to take it one day at a time. You have a purpose for being there and whether you know it or not, it’ll be something you’ll always look back and appreciate you did. Wishing the best for you both during this new adventure!

The serenity of this house is amazing - you have your own resort at your steps. Like with every big change comes some fear, but it will go with the passing of time. You will find you pace, and a way to do things, especially because of this new perspective of life. You two are not too young for changes and not old for new experiences. Is just a state of mind, is a reflection of the energy you put in. And is cat approved, what you want more?😻😸😻

I am so amazed by your house and the vibe of the quiet nature around it🥰 so clam! I personally would put a bigger rug under the bed. that way both sides can have a rug under their feet if they get out of bed. also the current rug seems kind off busy which isn’t the ideal vibe to have in a bedroom (Feng Shui and stuff… hahaha) it’s just my opinion, nonetheless the room is beautifully decorated:D enjoy every day in it’s new glory✨ there is nothing one can miss out on except their own contentment!

so your adulting haha love this! you got this! you both have each other to navigate these things. also its best not to concentrate on the what ifs and if you'll think you'll regret something later in the future probably don't do that, all things happen for a reason and 99% of those things are good, if we get hung on the 1% of bad in our lives, past and future it will be dark, sad and filled with regret. good or bad be happy where its got you! we will all mess up in life...that's LIFE! but the difference is how we turn out in the end, that my friend is a choice solely up to you. I have followed for awhile now and i see that you think A LOT but to much of anything is not good friend. i support you both and i hope life keeps getting more exciting! also take inspo from others! or go on a spontaneous trip, learn a hobby and take us along or become a cook haha WHATEVER comes to heart! in the end the people that support and follow you will make that happen. YOU GOT THIS!

Also to add on the other part of the video, I wouldn’t think to hard about missing the city. Think about it as a two year break, where you are just trying something new to see which one you like more. At the end of the two years you will have both experiences to compare. Then you can decide which one would work better going forward for both you and your girlfriend. At the begging of this year I turned 30, and I thought my best years were in my 20s so I was very afraid with the big 30 but honestly you live and you learn and I’m learning that I thought I knew a lot back in my 20s but I’m truly discovering myself now. Sorry for the long comment 😊

i love your house so much! can i give one suggestion though (feel free to ignore it): a lot of the house so far is very monotone, the only pop of color being usually plants. have you considered adding little items with saturated colors (aka as in "the unexpected red theory" or the likes)? like the little round window in the kitchen door with that red frame which looks really awesome and is super memorable because of its color which stands out... with all those wood tones and whites in the new apartment i feel like this could really make your place be really (chefs kiss), if you know what i mean.

You guys have a beautiful, calming space. I lived in SF for 15+ years, but needed a break from city life. I get the FOMO but you will be happy to have space to live and create. A suggestion if I may: move the plants in your bedroom off the built-in shelves and place in your bathroom. Your primary bath is just asking to be made into a plant jungle oasis.
