Wow the spirit in the US looks sooo intense!! In Germany, we usually dress up in certain themes for 5-7 days and for the last day, we decorate our school in the main theme and play games with the teachers. Like the teachers compete in teams against each other. But mannn this looks insane

I beg to differ... my school for homecoming looked like that except are theme was outer space so we had space theme things and of course we have to do school spirit so right when we walk in air smoke machines blow school colors and the marching bands play are fight song, etc and every holiday/dance we go all out even senior pranks but every day is senior pranks at my school (or just pranks in general because even the freshman-juniors join in until it’s the last month of school then that’s all seniors. 😂 but by the last month of every one having fun before the seniors take over that’s when it becomes very interesting. My school is the best school in the world!!! Every day a few kids/staff are making music videos (it’s an elective at my school) and about 2 times a year the whole school is involved in one big music video.

My high school closed down after 58 years. The last graduating class was 1981. Today it is an adult school and some of the other high schools in the area don't a stadium so they use ours.

Although we don’t do homecoming because we’re in England, we much of the same stuff at Christmas like form decorating which is like their hallway thing. We play sixth form vs teacher netball and things like that. In the summer the week before GCSEs start, the year 11s dress up eg macho Monday tropical Tuesday and on the Friday we all cut and rip and paint our uniforms because we will never wear them again. Also on sports day in the summer we organise a massive picnic for everyone on the field and bring in caterers and an ice cream truck. We also have a staff pantomime and are forbidden to record it 😂

A few over the top rules at my school.. Dress code: No shorts, skirts or dresses above your knees (girls only). If you wear leggings your shirt has to cover your butt. No ripped jeans with holes above your knees. No sweatpants. No phones on campus. Any phones seen will be taken and to get it back you have to pay 15$ or stay 1 hour after school detention, Even before school starts and after school ends. No walking in the halls before school without a pass from a teacher. No yearbook picture retakes. etc.
