Situated on the banks of the South Holland Drain in the heart of the Fens, Homefields is the ideal rural caravan and motorhome park for you to relax in the Lincolnshire Countryside. Our park boasts some animal friends including Lambs, Ducklings and Pygmy Goats, born in 2021.

It does look at nice place, how nice to see somewhere so well cared for and clean. Do you tow your car behind your van or drive both. At least it’s dry, wow how unusual to see a buzzard in the tree like that. Yes mazzy showed us hers, it zapped very quick good for the money for sure, I really dislike flies around the home. Lovely bird photos. Interesting regarding the dandelion. Your meal looked very nice.

It was interesting the fly tipping comment, never heard it before and it is a said happening. In Wyoming we always called it BLM bashing which hurts the people that really enjoy getting out and enjoying nature. It's not just trash that people leave but it's the foot print as well. North where I grew up you could take your vehicles in to the plains park and do nature walks. Now the Bureau of land management has restricted a lot of the areas because of a---holes like that. Not a mile from mile house is BLM for thousands of miles and someone's dropped off a couch and other trash. Thanks for the videos and the buzzards look a lot different, I love the wing patterns and colors.

The drain you walked by is known locally as the Little Holland. There's then the Holland Main Drain, aka the Big Holland that runs into the river Nene just outside Sutton Bridge. If you cross the Nene at Sutton Bridge, you're crossing one of the oldest swing bridges in the country. Until late 20th century, it still swung using the original Victorian water pressure engineering. When you cross the bridge on the Norfolk side, you can turn left and head down to The Wash. The lighthouse there was owned by Sir Peter Scott before WW2. He was an avid shooter and used to spend a lot of time on The Wash both shooting and painting. There is a car park there and you can walk around the sea wall and even go on to the Marsh if you want to. Just be aware of the tide times if you do, you don't want to get cut off and into trouble.

Hi ya Ron, I just do the measurements off the cuff so don’t ask how much of each thing as I couldn’t tell you lol 😂 … right it’s turkey mince, sweet potato and butternut squash chunks(frozen from the freezer section in the supermarket) finely chopped red onion, passanta/sieved tomato sauce, heap tablespoon of tomato purée, salt, ground black pepper, garlic, dried Italian herbs, vegetable stock, bell pepper finely chopped, I think they were cannelloni beans and a half t spoon of paprika for kick I think that was it from memory and it was lovely 😊 . No recipe there I just really enjoy cooking and making up new dishes off the top of my head with stuff I have, 99.9 times it works lol Sammies always telling me to write my creations down, I better had in case someone asks! 😂…. and you are welcome 🙏🏼 it was a special place and a special shout out! Well done JP, fly tippers are scum! If I used my ceramic slow cooker it really attracts every fly… if I use the SlowCook setting on my multi cooker that has a metal pot…no flys 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️ Lovely walk… your stew looks yummy.

I hate fly tippers too moved homes and my designated parking space were fly tipped and council didnt want to do anything about it and council tip wants £3.20 for 1 car tyre.

I know bud, my local tip you have to book an appointment now to tip and the scummers are fly tipping more now around my local country lanes. Our government sucks 💩 big time!!! 😡

@@JPLamoureuxsTravels it certainly does sucks. Don't understand people fly tipping if you have a van you can apply for permit normally free of charge and you get 12 times at tip free. If you have a car its free you can even walk into most of them or have an area where pedestrian can go. I know north and east yorkshire does this. I hate when neighbours put rubbish in my bin without asking. If they ask i will more than happy to let them. Same with dog muck ive 2 dogs and wouldnt dare leave it or leave it on trees.
