There is no designated leader. They choose the person that fits the song and go from there. Each man takes a lead depending on the song. That's what make them unique in a sense because it changes everything up. Great reaction! Have a great day! By the way the other fella's name is Austin Brown.

Sadly, Austin is going to leave HF this autumn. He'll not be with them on this year's Christmas Tour.

@@pfalzgraf7527 Yeah, that is sad! They are so good together, but I have faith that they are all taking their time to find someone that will do a good job. This is just my thoughts, but I wonder if they might have Chris Chatham in mind to take Austin's place? What do you think?

IMO, nothing will ever replace the original magic from hearing Boyz 11 Men sing this masterpiece, & I am so happy that Home Free, was able to keep the original integrity of the song, yet still inject their own magic, allowing us, to fall in love with it, all over again 💕 *I don't believe any other group, other than Home Free, could have pulled this off, & the fact that they are an a Capella group, puts them on a completely different level of skill & talent* 💕

You've seen Austin take lead in Man of Constant Sorrow, and Rob in the last 2, now for Tim and Chance: Chance leads - Cover me Up, I Can't Outrun You, Dive Bar Saints - just for starters. Tim leads - a Funny one - Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Road Sweet Road, Give me a Sign. Brothers in Arms features both Tim and Chance. Tim and Austin shine in Unchained Melody and an Austin on to blow your mind is When a Man Loves a Woman. But they often share the leads throughout a song - American Pie, for example. So many wonderful opportunities to enjoy a wide range of music.

Yes as suggested react to 💥...Listen To The Music At the beginning and later the soaring notes you hear is our wonderful vocal percussionist Adam Rupp in his marvelous soprano...though he seldoms sings he will throw in notes here and there... There are so many songs to recommend it's near impossible... #🏘️🍟Forever 🌿🌿🌿

These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.

When Home Free was on the Sing Off, Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and loved them. They wanted to do right by him. Rob is not the lead singer. There are no lead singers in the group. They all take the lead depending on the song. It makes it so great as they can all sing and 3 of them are songwriters too so they have original songs.

Rob was such a surprise to me when I saw this the first time. What the heck? And, yes, I always sing along. They even make me sing along to songs I actively dislike. The second soloist is Austin Brown. Sadly, he will be leaving the group later this year. All four of the vocalists take the lead, depending on the song. That's one of the things that makes them so versatile. Try their cover of Listen to the Music, or their newest release - Vincent with Don McLean for his new album. Fabulous.

I always sing along. LoL! The one you asked about is Austin Brown. As you go along you'll find they don't have a lead singer. Everyone takes turns being the main singer except Adam, the beatboxer, They also have original music, many they have written themselves. Thanks for the Home Free reactions. I've been a Boyz II Men fan since their first hit and I always thought if someone covered their "End Of The Road" I wouldn't like it. So I have to admit that I'm wrong. Everything is so good about this, but especially Rob. Rob nailed it with his voice full of soul, so sweet and warm!

This is a great “crossover” song. It expanded their audience! Lots of folks have a misconception as to acapella music. This shows that there are lots of options out there!

3 of them are song writers so there are lots of originals as well as covers. They sing (and write) in almost every genre. BTW, they each have channel(s) of their own. Whether you like country, rock, pop, R&B & everything in between, they've done it. They have over 300 songs & have toured 150-200 shows for years, so there are lots of live videos too.

Rob is a great tenor and has classical and opera training. Austin the high tenor does Nessum Dorma with Rob. They call it Two Country Singers try singing Opera.

I see you liked two country boys sing opera. It was Rob and Austin. You liked Austin in this one also again with Rob. If you want to be blown away, Austin true roots are with Broadway musicals. He did a Solo of Bring Him Home that will show why he is so good and will just blow your mind

There is no lead, they are all able to lead and switch off depending on who they think the song best suits. All can sing fantastically in their own right. Austin is the other guy singing front and center in this one. But don't sleep on Adam Chance, the guy with the beard in back, he too can sing tenor down to bass, just like Tim Foust, the other "bass."

Great reaction! All but Adam (percussion/bearbox) take turns leading. Adam has a great voice and range and sings BGV on some as well. They’ve got fantastic originals and wonderful collaborations as well as their amazing covers/upgrades. Pick anything. You won’t be disappointed.

It depends on the song for who is lead. It really varries per song. They are all good so it's easy for them to lead or backup or whatever. I think your ready to hear "Mayday" Just brace yourself... If you need a bit of a break before then, listen to "Elvira" with the oak ridge boys... Then do mayday, but a big surprise in mayday... they switch things up a bit.... So make sure you know who is who before mayday or you won't see what they do there....
