Lots of weapons in the game are sort of 'makeshift', made from different parts from several weapons, due to the story in-game being that of US invasion and scarce resources, with the resistance having to improvise and put together what they can. How you see a Beretta M9 out of that pistol is beyond me.It's more based on a sig p220 the SMG is a fictional design,because for the attachment you said,you need a full auto pistol.And it's a brace not a weapon. In the game the SMG is a whole new upper receiver attached to the lower of the pistol. The shotgun is a remington not a mossberg,but basically same shit different dumpster. The LMG is a left charging right ejecting 249 SAW The sniper rifle is a Tac 50.

Yeah that base pistol had like a m1911 grip and a sig slide, it has no m9 DNA whatsoever and the SMG upper is 100% based on the H&K MP7.

I'm no gunsmith But I do see why some of them would not work I wander if By changing to drum is what makes the Mossberg or Remington into full auto or the Barell because the Barell could work on how it works but if its just the Mag than that's Hollywood logic

@@scarydave7245 in theory, swapping out the barrel could work if it had a gas release system built into the barrel assembly, facilitating the faster fire rate without causing the weapon to generate too much heat. With it being a 590, it at least has a semi auto function, so that would help. The lack of a buffer tube would make this a painful weapon to fire, and may lead to misfires if the bolt carrier doesn't cycle back fully. The loading port would need to be modified before hand in order to support magazines. But yeah, a lot of these weapons are Hollywood'd

@@boi-o2479 Alright. Personally as someone who's beaten it twice I'd recommend buying on sale, but otherwise pretty good. Pros: Awesome gunplay with the ability to switch weapon and equipment types whenever you want, damn good graphics and map details, really makes you feel like a freedom fighter, great ost, cool mechanics and missions, the civilian zones drastically change overtime, and has a great FPS. Cons: Protagonist is a mute who's about as well developed as a sentient mannequin, supporting characters weren't all that great (Their one-limers were more memorable than anything else), no real antagonist, bugs are somewhat more common than average and are usually just AI spawning and despawning out of nowhere. Overall worth picking up on a sale I'd say. 7/10 for me

There are some pistol carbine uppers that include their own self-contained bolt rather than just attach over the existing slide like the RONI. Its possible that such uppers could be converted into an open-bolt smg.

You need a whole new trigger group to turn a semi-auto into a full-auto. Hence why there's cursed as shit images of AR-15s with MAC-10 grips, because (thanks to US firearms laws) it's super cheap (comparatively) to buy an M-10, remove the trigger group, and replace the AR-15s grip with the M-10's, which can cost about 10k-12k versus the possibly 30k you'd need for a full-auto M16/M4.

Yeah. Each gun can change to 2-3 different weapons(Except rocket launcher if I remember). The gameplay feels pretty....junky?(from my own experience) but I like the fact you can do weapon customization on the go. You just need to buy weapon attachment and "weapon modes"(I like to called it that) in shops.

The IN GAME name of the pistol is "M9"... the video gets it wrong from the jump saying that it's BASED on the real M9. Even the sources he listed distinctly say those are the IN GAME names, not what real world weapon they game used for inspiration. You're right though- it is most definitely NOT an M9. It's not a Browning Hi Power either, though... no frame based safety. It has more in common with the SIG 226, although it's lacking a decocker on the frame. 🤷‍♂️

(I know I'm being pedantic but) the pistol in the game much more closely resembles a Taurus PT-909, which uses a very similar, Beretta style frame, but a much more Sig style slide that we see in-game.
