Nice tips! I'd love to see a video about curtains: sizing, material, details etc. I'm planning on changing the curtains in my bedroom, but I have no idea how to choose one and I find that websites just say to get a custom one, but they are too expensive. Thank you!

I disagree about the grommet curtains. I have them throughout my house and I get tons of compliments on them. I have 108 inch curtains because of 10 foot ceilings so the curtains are from the ceiling to floor and they look fantastic. I am not a fan of curtain rings at all. I guess the curtain rings remind me of Walmart I found my new end tables at HomeGoods. I love your videos. Thanks for sharing all of your tips.

...I am not an " Interior Designer "... but I've employed these ' Tips" for Decades .... using my Intuitive skills, ( Intuition) and what I find appealing, lovely, useful and will work with existing pieces .......and I'm not interested in making my home " Look Expensive ", ...more so to be a Reflection of Who I Am..., My Story, my Personality.... And to be Inviting, Warm, Comfortable ... and if parts of it " Look Expensive " as a Bonus .... that works.

I find the lamps at our HomeGoods to be a bit iffy. Some are beautiful and substantial, but one I almost bought for a desk had 2 light sources and the electrical only worked for one side! Buyer beware! Otherwise, I love HomeGoods especially for decor pieces and books. And dishware!

Love this video. I just went to Home Goods yesterday and bought some curtains and saw this video today. Hi Kristen : Have you ever done the following : mega large carpets like shown in your video today, hanging on concrete apartment walls, kind of like an almost neutral textured tapestry. I may be moving in a couple of months to a large industrial unit with a lot of concrete walls, so I thought I’d be interesting to hang carpets and hopefully it doesn’t look like I’m hanging carpets !

Hi Kristen, Any advise on how to decorate a really long beige wall behind a beige sectional? I recently bought and renovated my house and the walls are beige as well as almost all my decor. You can do 1 large art piece flanked by wall sconces on either side to fill the space and add light, or hang 3 pieces of art or mirrors side by side along the wall behind your sofa! picture frame molding works well to fill the blank space on your walls without adding too much busyness as well!
