I have tried the public gyms for years. However, with the constant wait for machines, an women posing for instagram pics and making accusations that men are staring at them in their super tight outfits, I have had enough! I have been looking at Lever Gym for over a year now and will finally get mine just in time for Christmas. I too am turning a spare bedroom into my home gym. I can work out when I want to in the comfort of my home. This piece of equipment is just what I need for the price and footprint in my room. Thank you so much for posting these wonderful videos on the use of the Lever Gym. I have learned so much by watching your channel. Keep up the good work you are doing and God bless you.

There were two individuals in my last gym that were like thing one and thing two. If you were doing farmers walks in a lane on the turf, they would come start stretching right in your lane. They frequently would do supersets with 8-10 different PAIRS of dumbells and fixed barbells, taking up a 15 by 15 foot space in front of the dumbells. I’d even seen one put their bottle on a bench that someone was using…AS THE PERSON WAS LEANING BACK TO DO DUMBELL BENCH, luckily that person didn’t dislocate their shoulder.

Really good to hear you like yours! Glad you’re okay! I’ve shown a few ways to hold up the arms. If it’s close enough to wall, I would just lay them against the wall. It is great to see the levergym in action on your channel again. It always inspires me not to ever undervalue the gem proudly sat in one corner of the gym, always ready to go when called upon. Many thanks for sharing! The lever arms we spoke about are going well. A little snag as they use plastic casing for the rollers?!? The plastic snapped away which obviously did not impress me much, but the replacement part came relatively hassle free and quickly. Something I will have to keep my eye on, however. Other than that, they have been good for most exercises. More of a 'pounding' feel to them, getting heavier as they go up similar to using bands or chains, probably due to the levers being bulkier and heavier? Different enough from the powertec levers to warrant a place in my arsenal I feel. As even though, you hit the nail on the head with your demonstration of just how easy and quickly the powertec levers can be adjusted, of course adding to its overall sheer versatility. Also, I agree with the comment about how the incline press feels great. I am sure you will agree that the lever gym has exercises on it that just cannot quite be matched, even by much more expensive single station equipment in some cases.

@@HomeGymHacksandReviews Same here being a fan of variety. Having options is useful. I have a similar space as your main gym, but without the bonus rooms. So I have to mange the space wisely. Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item kzbin.infoUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

Does Powertec make that lever arm plate selector that fits on my levergym? Mine just has the holes going through the frame. I like the one that you have that looks like it has two sets of holes that you numbered. I’m always finding I wish I could go a half hole to find that right starting position with my bench up at a slight angle. It looks like it would just fit over the holes I already have with more starting point options. Thanks for sharing.

Great video. Keep up the great work. I recently ordered a Levergym and have watched most or all of your videos about it. I have a few quick questions if you would humor me. Did you consider instead pairing the Levergym with the Compact Leg Sled for this room? With the plyo box hack you showed in a previous video, I would have assumed the angle problems for the flat bench press movement would be fixed well enough to do away with the need for a Multipress. I also would have assumed--perhaps incorrectly--that leg press would be a safer quad exercise than leg extensions, as I have for years seen claims that the latter are bad for your knees. Lastly, where can I find an extra pin like the one you showed in the video that you use for safety purposes?
@HomeGymHacksandReviews
@HomeGymHacksandReviews Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I got to the point where I needed 14+ 45s on the Sled, which I am not comfortable loading on the hardwood floors. The Plyo Box hack levels out the flat press so that is is basically the same as the Multipress, but it is so nice not having to set the exercise up. With space being somewhat tight in this room, the plyo boxes would have taken up too much room. Unless someone has bad knees or experiences pain when performing leg extensions, I think they are fine. Also, I usually stay at 12 reps or higher for the exercise. I am not sure you can buy the extra pin, I just took mine off the Leg Press attachment. At one point, I used a metal tube I got off a soloflex. If you have a tool shed or know someone who does, there may be something that will work in place of the additional safety.

Great video as always 👌 now I own the im2000 but I really like also the LeverGym. In a few weeks I will move in another apartment and I am really thinking about switching from Ironmaster to Powertec’s levergym, but I am a little worried about the range of motion of the lat pull down (I’m 190 cm) and also about squatting with that thing. Plus, since I got long arms I am also worried about the pressing motion also on incline position, maybe the handles are too near my head than my chest. Thanks so much! The Levergym’s bench can be lowered to 12” and the pulley attachment site is 77”. The bench slides horizontally so it can be moved closer to or farther away from the handles. Hello, I have the powertec hyperextension crunch. You mentioned you like the 45 degree hyperextension. I'm trying to decide which is best: 45 degree or superman position feet raised higher closer to 90 degree. I suppose 90 degree is a roman chair position. Which is best in your opinion. Thanks

I’m reluctant to say one is better than the other. My preference is 45 degrees. You could always cycle the exercises. When you plateau on one, switch to the other. Or, have an A and B lower body training day and perform one on your A Day and the other on your B Day.

Glad you’re happy with the LG. It’s either where the pins go into the arms or more likely it’s the squat bar. The squat bar revolves around an inner pipe for fluidity. I haven’t had that issue, so I haven’t tried this, but spraying silicone spray inside of the squat bar (probably using one of the straws) could help.

@@RonMexico527 I have an older video comparing the two benches. I stand by everything I said in the video: for dumbbell and barbell work and for ease of adjustment, I prefer the IM Bench. When I set this gym up, I tried to have the majority of the weight along the outside wall of the house. Also, nothing was ever loaded much more than 300 pounds. For example, I wouldn’t recommend having a Power Rack in the middle of the room with a ton of 45s stored along its uprights. Lastly, I didn’t do any lifts where there was the potential to drop a weight from a substantial distance; for example, bailing on a 405 barbell squat and letting the Power Rack safeties catch the weight.
