My problem with this season is that the internal consistency of the powers are starting not to make sense in context to other moments in the show, so newman is bullet proof after being able to cut her hand in gen v with a knife, and a train being able to safely move people while going fast neutralizes like 4 different moments in the show

A direct cut and a forceful blow are different. I think that is the main difference. A gun or a laser vs a knife. It is atleast a consistent inconsistency with Marie too, as she could cut her own hand but also withstood Homelander's blast. As for the a-train thing, I would need to know what 4 moments you are mentioning, if the robin thing is one of them, running *through* someone is different than just carrying them, not to mention he was on v during it so it made him faster

@@gingerdog8203 idk especially with speedsters their power depends on physics and the world established that if someone is in front of him when he is going fast that they blow up, bluehawk is the other example, if he is holding onto someone when going fast thats what happens, they never gave us any example until now of a train running fast with a human and the human being safe because every other detail says he goes so fast the force of his speed breaks shit even popclaw's bones were shattered, all im saying is if it was playing by the rules of the rest of the show hughie's organs would be sucked out of his body by the speed or his skin would peel off in the fast air, i dont believe hughie could survive going a train speeds.
