Seeing how Newman is seemingly invulnerable makes me think of how Marie from Gen V could withstand Homelander’s laser eyes because they both have the same powers. That's why she survived Homelander’s attack and got captured in the season finale. So I don't know why she can't just go up against Homelander, but I mean, he is faster than her and could snap her neck in an instant because Newman has to concentrate on her target to explode them

Talk about Banana's with the first episode. Homelander is pulling no stops as he is expressing his anger more and more throughout each episode. Homelander is beyond crazy. I think Ryan will side with Butcher midway through season 4 because he is the closest father figure and realizes he loves his mom dearly and wants to do right by her. The scene with Becca appearing as a spirit trying to help her husband reminded me of Darla appearing as a spirit to her son Connor in Angel season 4 trying to plead with her son to do the right thing. The Will Ferrell cameo as the football coach making fun of The Blind Side just too good. I can't wait to see what surprise cameos are in store for the remainder of this season.
