He has accelerated perception, like all speedsters do, allowing him to see the world in slow motion. He saved butcher from a C4 explosion basically at pointblank range. Thor with either his hammer or Stormbreaker struggles to surpass the speed of sound. Thor also doesn’t have accelerated perception. The only “speed” Thor takes over Homelander would be “combat speed”.
