I personally don’t like the emblem; that’s IT, though. Also, they don’t have much to work with. Superman costume may be iconic, but honestly, I get the feeling that Edna Mode would not approve, and not just because it has a cape. It clashes too many colors, (blue red yellow, and is for the most part only blue) and has no special design all around.

You also forgot to mention the fact that in some storylines, Clark gave up his US citizenship in order to not have the US be admissible for any damage he does. This way, Superman can work/operate on a global scale, without the problem that is not being able to enter another country without permission. I always wonder that about The Avengers; in Civil War, they were in Lagos, and… it appeared that they snuck in and didn’t notify the government there. Tsk tsk tsk, Captain Rogers. I honestly get Captain America, but I didn’t like how he also didn’t offer an ACTUAL solution to contradict the Accords; I mean he was basically suggesting that NOTHING change, and that damages like what Wanda did go UNNOTICED and UNPUNISHED.

My main problem with this video is that it uses a lot of Snyder's Superman. Snyder didn't like Superman much and tried to make him grittier than he really is. Like when it talks about public relations. Superman doesn't even need to use public relations because he's loved worldwide and considered the one person practically everyone on the planet can trust. Even Lex Luthor has come around to believe that we need Superman. So when it comes to Homelander versus Superman, the only contest Homelander can win is who is a better at being a villain.

Also, Homelander, is a parody of both Superman and Captain America. Everyone knows that. His powers are a Superman power set, and his costume and “brand”, is America.
