I'm so happy an email was finally sent to #HopeForPaws about little French Fry! He was homeless for a long time and happy to finally be rescued.

Thank you to the kind man who rescued French Fry off of the streets, put him indoors near a cool fan, presumably gave him water, and then called you guys! He saved this dog's life. He was able to at least get the dog somewhere safe, and leashed. He made the rescue far easier.

It does happen sometimes. A family called Hope For Paws about a kitten trapped in their wall. They later adopted that kitten, along with another one that had bonded with it. I think I'm remembering this correctly. Something like that, anyway.

While I'm glad that these babies are being rescued, I really miss the earlier style videos where it was Eldad and his agile brain working to figure out how to rescue a dog that seemed impossible to rescue. Houdini comes to mind. I loved Eldad's unique dedication to the ones that everyone else had given up on. I miss those days. Now, it seems like most times, the people who call have already done the catching.

I can't believe this dog was homeless for months, he absolutely didn't defend himself against people. I would have dropped everything for him immediately if I had seen him. But I also live in Germany and I have never seen a homeless dog in my entire, quite long, life here in Germany. This doesn't exist in Germany because no one would abandon a dog here, but would only sell it. Dogs in Germany cost quite a lot to buy. There are no dogs that you can find for free on the street. I often think to myself that it's a really good thing that I don't live in a country where homeless dogs are real. Countries like USA or Greece. I would be one of the "weird" single ladies with hundreds of dogs at home, all of which I would have gotten off the streets.​ 😅

It's nice to have an easy rescue sometimes! I know French Fry felt 100% better after all that nasty matted mess was shaved off of him! Where is Loreta and Eldad? And girls who were helping earlier? I'm sorry to say this, but the content lately is lacking. The rescues are rushed (earlier videos), the updates are les frequent and it seems the only thing you are about are the baths, as if they were the most important things for the animals. Sometimes they are, sometimes not. And the names given to the animals are just stupid. I can't imagine walking with the dog and yelling "French Fry!".
