If I was put in that situation I honestly don't know what I would do. You can say you would do this or do that but honestly actions speak louder than words. My neighbors kids come to me when they are scared or anything. Thier mom told them to always come to MISSY house. No matter what. So I try my best to help out.

Idea/suggestion, maybe mess up their hair a bit and clothes, so they look more realistic. It might just be where I grew up but if anyone approached someone saying they're homeless and need help but didn't look like they were sleeping rough, they would be ignored or called liars. It is a good experiment though!
