Basically she had seven kids her husband seved 2 yrs in prison then hung himself in a bedroom , so she decided to surender her house and make herself and the kids , homeless ? How about she take responsibility for her predicament. Id say the council and social services are very well awaŕe of the family and would give a very different account of her case ?

Something similar happened to my niece last year with the social workers.Her 4 beautiful children were taken from her because of domestic violence from the partner in the house. It was very traumatic for everyone. She tried for 3 years to get the back. It sent her Downhill eventually. After 2years without the children she started taking drugs. She is now dead. Overdosed. I still cannot believe the way the social works. They were horrendous. No feelings. The rest of my family are allowed to see the kids Now and again. My Sister,who is the gran, has been told she has no rights towards the children.

I don't think they take children because of domestic violence, otherwise half the children in the country would be in care. She or the social worker could have had him removed from the home.The children must have been neglected by both parents.
@susanlaird51544 ай бұрын
I am afraid you are wrong in this case. I can assure you the children were never ever neglected. I saw them all the time and if there was any neglect I would have stepped in and stopped it. They were perfectly well looked after. I saw them two days ago and they are still grieving for their mother. I do not think that they would be the case if she had neglected them. I take it you may be a ‘SOCIAL WORKER’ who are not always right.

Don't have the time to watch it all, but came to almost 13 minutes. It sure paints a bleak picture of family services. It seems to me that the mother is prone to quite reckless behavior. Who would leave accommodation with 7 children with no prospect of something else? There ought to have been someone, who'd come next to mom and who'd also have a say. For being homeless is worse and another big trauma to add to already vulnerable children. You don't just turn in the key of your children's home! And I get it, that there was a bad situation. But her decisions made it far worse. Her mental health problems - understandable as they are - have squandered away irresponsibly, what the children needed most. She needed supervision with authority!
@teevis3620 Жыл бұрын
To be honest and given the situation and my own personal experience... 'trauma' has a different face to those experiencing it, as opposed to those who are objectively observing it. I've been homeless. I had a family and children that l knew were in a better place at one time while living rough on the streets.. I'm thankful that l didn't have seven children to worry about while l was homeless. We all make some pretty sketchy choices in our lives and rather than aportion blame on this mother l would prefer it if something was done to fast track, improve and upgrade, social housing services and mental health counciling, access and facilities. I'm in my mid 60s, born and have lived in New Zealand all my life. We have similar widespread, accommodation, social housing, homeless and mental health issues stemming from a number of life trauma issues. It gets worse when alcohol and or drugs like, meth, cocaine, heroin and fentanyl become your everyday go to in order to cope with living homeless on the streets. Your just another 'cash cow' for street gangs and drug dealers to further exploit and traumatize. Thankfully l was able to get off the streets and turn my life around. It comes down to learning how to make better choices. God is always willing and patiently waiting to help raise you up. God Bless you and your family ma'am.
@gardenjoy5223 Жыл бұрын
@@teevis3620 Sorry you've been homeless. Your situation was not hers. I'm pretty sure in this situation, we see a quite reckless mother, who has her own issues, though understandable. I'm not trying to blame her, just 'name' it. But instead AM wondering what family services were thinking in not coming alongside of her. For her own protection and that of her children. Glad you write you learned to make better choices. Bless you too.

I am sorry your brother was hit by a the car. I expect that the driver was traumatised too. Seven is a lot of children to home. The Irish community can be very supportive. Why are so many Irish traveller men committing crimes? It must be so awful to have to live in a house with circumstances like that happening. I know someone who did though. It was the mother who hung herself. They had a quiet little Holy blessing in the house. Wishing you the best of luck 🙏 Sxxt happens.

Gardi??? They do nothing…. That’s is the world where abusers have a green light to do whatever they want… Social ? That’s the other joke…. You have to fit to their boxes … but when you need them they are useless. The worst sad part of this is- if she had a help, choice, opportunity, some options…. sadly they judge her because of the sickness- drug addiction is not a choice is not a lifestyle is a sickness and Ireland missing proper places for people who need help like her. Imagine how all of them life could look differently ❤
