It's scary to see people with bachelor's and master's degrees on the streets homeless. We're brainwashed to believe that you'll never go without a job with them and look now.

That's the old days. The modern days degrees are commonplace. I thought the same getting a bachelors degree in engineering and I was 2 years unemployed post graduation because I had no experience.
@MrGreen-nl3yv Жыл бұрын
@@explosive214 I understand but there are articles stating that college degrees that aren't engineer based are going to be worthless because of artificial intelligence taking over every job in the coming decades.

An African American with degrees has fewer opportunities than a white high school dropout...... I knew a Black guy who did two combat tours as an Airbourne ranger, had a master's degree but could not get a decent steady job and became homeless several times over the twenty years I knew him. He finally left San Francisco, went to South Carolina and used his VA to buy a cheap little farm.

backcountry powderhound, but the term “delusions of grandeur” was a man made construct in order to control intellectual thinking... the very exact reason the Europeans went into Africa to learn from shamans... and then proceeded to slaughter them, so nobody else could learn the secrets they held. Do not be fooled by psychological lies... they come up with hundreds of obscure diagnoses every year in order to make money off of people with chemically manufactured medications when it has not been proven that there are chemical imbalances in the brain.

Why are people surprised that there are educated homeless people? All it takes is, 1 job loss, no savings, no back up safety net (family, friends, partner), to help out...& BOOM! You can't pay you rent or mortgage and you're out on the streets! From the moment we're born, societies dictate that education and material/financial wealth = success. Trouble is, when you hit a streak of misfortune, those same societies are quick to take everything you ever worked for...AWAY!

Whether as if he has actual college degrees or what truth or whatever fib we all tell, the guy is definitely earned of that type of honor, you can tell that he is studied, known above the environment he lives in for oh saying he is above. With or without use of his degrees those are really of no use, at least for their title. Because he has already used them there passed any of their worth. He has proven to be passed any education that he has earned by a paper degree measure. If oh some of these people like brother stocking have college degrees or what any of his history or all what his history he tells, really is irrelevant. Cause you can tell that there is an achieving mind trying to work there. And is smart.

The middle class is indeed steadily disappearing from this country. Wages have been stagnant for 40 years and the cost of living never stopped rising. The rich are getting a larger and larger share of the entire economy. It's that simple. I have a teaching credential and you have to renew your teaching license every 5 years or you lose it. I also have a Masters degree. You have to sign up with a school district, take a specific set of classes, and 100+ "clock hours" that consists of volunteering working with children or taking even more classes, etc. Teaching licenses are specific to that person; you can't sell them on Ebay or anywhere else, and they check you out thoroughly so you can't use a fake ID. This guy is a good talker but I'm guessing his teaching credentials are not good anymore.

How could we as a society throw this gift of a man away. 😢 He so clearly has genius-level intelligence. Many of the genius minds through history have been tortured souls. Dostoyevsky is a good example. Ben Franklin is another. What medieval folks would describe as “given to madness”. Many present level geniuses, Elon Musk comes to mind, so obviously has mental health issues. Musk is rich though… I imagine this man as a modern day Einstein, Voltaire, or Yeats. He was trying to say that They are useless to Him now, because He's homeless or perhaps because He now has criminal convictions, based on Him saying "The Cops define Me as a Brother", which I took to mean He's had brushings with the Law but He could have said the Cops calls Him a Brother, meaning the Cops see all Black Men the same "as Brothers" aka Crack dealers or pimps which is largely how the cops see & treat Black Men, even if They have 2 Masters degrees. He may even have earned those degrees inside, (as in prison) I believe He has those degrees though & there's a very good chance He has been inside & spent His time earning those degrees there in which case He's right, Yo get a degree in there & are highly intelligent but Society sees You differently. Society doesn't give You a chance. They won't employ You once You've been inside & many won't employ You even if You have a record. Some of the greatest scholars have earned their degrees in the Prison system. This Guy is very streetwise as well as being of high intellect.
