In an ideal world, you're right, but I got evicted with 30 MINUTES notice! I was going to a job interview, so lost my pet, my belongings, my ID and everything! Got the job... thankfully someone in my town took pity on me n let me sleep on their sofa! Started work a week later and continued in employment after that! There but for the grace of god go I!!! #1PaycheckAway #Someone'sSonBrotherFatherFriend #BeKind xx

Council doesn't help homeless.. it's the workers there..they can help but don't.. Only help who they want to. Pple would not be homeless if council actually helped. Been there I no from experience. Homeless charities do so much more..

From experience, I have to agree with you! But I strongly believe it's because council workers are expected to meet unrealistic targets xx

" What's one thing you've learned from being homeless " ?. This government takes more care of illegal immigrants than it does it's own citizens, so if you can, get to Dover, get on a dinghy & when rescued just say " No English, no English ".....4-5* hotel next stop 👍👍.

If I had found a quid when I was homeless, I would have bought something to eat. Investing would have been the last thing on my mind. You never have a spare quid on skid row.
