I was in HMP Bristol 2019 on remand first time in prison in my life and the things I seen were unbelievable about 30-40% female staff which did work as far as the violence was concerned as most prisoners wouldn’t touch the female officers or if they did they got battered by other prisoners so that was good but being elder and keeping my nose clean and just watching and learning and I seen a few times how close some of female officers we’re getting and got to close to prisoners if you know what I mean.

Prisons have changed big time Yammy, no longer like it was in the 80’s. No doubt seen as barbaric in a lot of respect back then but today is all too much for me. Glad to be away from that culture .
