I was homeless in Santa Monica from 1996 until 2007. I went to college, had a Job and even had a Column in the local newspaper for 2 years about being homeless. I've met women who are like this, Most here have been abused by the Entertainment industry's "Dittys" and "Weinsteins" because they all have similar Stories. "I'm gonna be Famous in (Name the Job or Role)" Most are REALLY Mentally Broken and/OR on some kind of drug, Mostly Meth or Crack. But the Same Story Persists and with the Revelations of Weinstein, Maxwell, Epstein and Ditty, (To name the Tip of the Iceberg) I wouldn't be surprised if those are Broken throw aways.

To be fair, its not poverty or economics that did this. What we are seeing here is purely a mental health issue, stemming from years of abuse. Most homeless people have the good sense to at least try and keep refuse away from them. This one has practically made herself a nest out of it. This is intentional. She has endured years of trafficking, and we all know what kind. The refuse is how she's learned to protect herself, by making herself as unappealing as possible.

As Filipino, I found it crazy that America have mail-in ballots, NO identification to vote and election day is not a holiday. Here you need to be registered to a "precinct" to vote and some people would even travel back to their hometown to vote (I prefer they all do that so they have no say about our local politics in Manila). Apparently they now do mail-in for Filipinos abroad who might not be able to vote on election day. Before they have to travel to certain areas or the embassy on a certain date.

I live in a house with two empty rooms. I should invite a homeless person to stay with me. It's a small house and kinda dusty because I never use the spare rooms. Cobwebs and whatnot probably. And fleas, I have fleas. And my neighbor drink and get loud. No AC or heat, or food. Both showers are unusable and you have to flush the toilet with a bucket of water. The front door doesn't lock, or close. And there's a giant sink hole on the side of the house that may swallow the house one day.
