Living on the streets homeless can be difficult, but now that the weather is changing, the need to survive is becoming critical.

To anyone that is on the verge of being homeless I strongly suggest you buy a tent, a sleeping bag and a small tent stove these three items are a must, at 18 and six months pregnant I was on the streets, sleeping on tree branches, that was 40 year's ago, thank you for sharing your story❣️

I just checked you out! Wow! You remind me of Me! We must be the same age and from the same background. I'm a woman also, an animal.lover like you are, and my music taste is similar to yours. Sleeping on a tree branch! What a story for your Grandkids! You're a Survivor like me! The BEST of Luck and Good Health to you and your dogs..

Homeless Tip: Get into 100% wool insulated hammock camping. It's a cheap way to be mobile and warm four seasons of the year.

The problem with homelessness in America is that it is illegal to be homeless. Without an address you are not allowed to obtain a driver's license, passport, birth certificate, social security card etc. most cities have ordinances against sleeping in public or even in your car. If you are homeless and on foot you have to sleep near town, which is where you are not allowed to be. If you make a fire to warm yourself or cook your food the police will be called on you. The community that acts this way towards their own struggling neighbors deserves whatever unintended backlash they receive.

Unless you’re illegal then they provide you with free medical care $1000 gift card they feed them they close them we shouldn’t have a homeless problem in the United States.

This is looking more like my future. I was kicked out of my family home for standing against my abusive uncle. I am now living with my moms family and we dont know eachother. Im just waiting for them to ask me to leave. Learning all i can before the inevitable happens. If you have genuine family cherish them, only my father who passed ever cared for me.

then then local government comes and fines you or arrest you for camping without a permit and having a open fire, because this is how unsympathetic our society has become, don't want to help you, and wont allow you to help yourself.

To be clear - if you "live" in the city, these are "survival" techniques... not "homeless" survival techniques. Ridiculous.
