Homelessness and Housing support from RSL LifeCare Veteran Services

RSL LifeCare Veteran Services provides support to veterans who are experiencing homelesssness, to help them live safely.
Whether veterans need to access safe and secure long-term accommodation, secure existing accommodation or transfer to a more stable home environment, we can work with all veterans to help them live sustainably in their chosen community.
Rent Choice Veterans, Housing Support Program
In addition to providing assistance to veterans experiencing homelessness, we can also support you finding a home or managing rental arrears.
Through Rent Choice Veterans, a program delivered in conjunction with the NSW Department of Community and Justice (DCJ), we can help eligible veterans to:
- Obtain a new rental lease or stay in your current accommodation
- Arrange subsidized rent for up to three years
- Gain new skills and work opportunities to support your financial independence.
Homelessness assistance
Homes for Heroes is our transitional program, which gives you access to safe, secure and stable accommodation if you are at risk of homelessness.
We aim to assist and support you in:
- Accessing a transitional accommodation solution in a safe and secure environment
- Benefitting from support services to reach your goal of what independence looks like for you
- Empowering you to live sustainably in your chosen community
- Accessing long-term and sustainable housing solutions.
