Brother,,, i live in very difficult to internet acces, and i have made many kinds off antenna 3g/4g, even i bought some antenna online but there is no one prefect antenna, finally i found this video, i have made the antenna like this one, and the result is better than all of antenna i have made before, althoug i have to make it more prefect. Might we have learn how to make antenna using MMANAGAL etc. Thanks.

+chris pethers U can modify it, but it is very complicated work to do. As the increase or decrease in measurements will affect antenna's frequency. This design can be improved. If you want to modify the structure, then you can change it according to your needs. But it might take too much time. Before making this I made 2-3 antennas but not worked properly. According to me this one is best.

How you calculate the distance, and diameter of boom to build your antenna? Can we use a satellital dish? an old tv satellital... I hope your answer.

If you will search in Google you will get many results, I tried many of them by calculating the measurements with online yagi calculator. And after 4 failed attempts this one worked (5th one). You can use satellite dish as a reflector but as the size of the reflector increases you will also have to increase the size of other objects. Hope it helps, any more questions, feel free to ask.

Old TV satellite contains pure alluminium, if you have it then it's best for this antenna.

We dont have available 6mm tube here and 16 mm for bom as well, available here is 9mm for elements and 25mm for bom. Can i adjust the length of elements and the distance of each elements? Thanks in advance for your advise

Well sometimes if thunder strikes near to the antenna it absorbs current, if not well grounded, then it may harm. And to avoid it make sure antenna is grounded properly, or your house have a lightning absorber .

Yes it will work. If your phone has a metal case, there should be plastic also where your phone's antenna is placed. My Redmi note 4 works well.

i was poking fun at you. keep trying, u built it well. i just realized that you used an aluminum pan when i thought it was an old satillite dish. working with whats available. good for you. look up the history of yagi antennas so can use to the best advantage. like the driven element should be issolated from the rest of rods. not able to conduct at all. and the shielding on wire to driven wont touch inner core and so on and so on. keep trying cause trial and error will give the best results. good luck

I have a question- 1) Reflector diameter= 320mm and diameter of reflector=20mm. I Confused, here the reflector is the pan only. Kindly explain the two diameter you given in description. 2) Reflector distance from director 1 & from dipole is 135mm and 117mm respectively. This give another position for reflector. Kindly explain it. (If the deflector distance from dipole is 106/107mm then OK). 3) You used another circuit plate A input instead of copper foil one, I'm i wrong? Pse clarify it im just start to buid yr. antenna right now. Thanks.
