How does the front lock? As in the axle sockets how do they lock on the center shaft i understand the sliding part but what locks it to spin?
@councilhousecreations80353 жыл бұрын
Hey bud. So the socket slides across and joins up 2 nuts. One nut is welded to the centre shaft and the other is welded to the half shaft. I used a deep impact socket with the nuts to make a ''spline'' sort of thing. One nut is always hidden inside the socket.👍
@shyamricky597 Жыл бұрын
I would recommend using metal lock nuts rather than nylon ones couse heat from engine can damage the nylon lock nuts

@fuhkoffandie2 жыл бұрын
Even though it's a nice touch, if I were you, I would refrain from chamfering suspension bracket holes. The diameter the whole we'll end up expanding, due to the lack of thickness of the metal.

Man you will have a problem with the driveshaft, if you don't use two links in a driveshaft it will transmit different amounts of twork, because the radious from the center of the shaft changes as you steer, I don't think it's a big problem ... It will probably jolt when you steer but using two of them solves this problem
