you could totally do that just by adding 4oz of super soft cream cheese to the heavy cream when whipping it to give the base the flavor. if you want cheesecake chunks you might have to make a cheesecake though lmao

@turayarehman2630 The recipe comes from Better Homes and Garden, the red and white cookbook, called Easy Ice Cream. 1 pint heavy whipping cream, 1/2 can of sweet condensed milk, mix on medium high till you get stiff peaks, and fold in your choice of added sweet like lemon curd, honey, chocolate syrup, mashed bananas and honey, etc etc etc. Freeze in whatever containers you want and is ready in about 8 hours.

I added cream cheese to the base and little lemon juice to the blueberries. So mine was a blueberry cheesecake ice cream. So good!!!😊😊😊

@@Aaarandom hi I made about a 12 oz container of ice cream and used approx. 1/4 cup of cream cheese or a bit less. ( I eyeballed it) because I was making a much smaller portion than this video. If you’re plan is to make the same loaf pan amount as this video, then 8 oz or 1 cup of cream cheese sounds about right to me. Experiment and have fun with it. Once you have the base of the ice cream, I.e. vanilla, this can become whatever flavor your heart desires. Hope this was helpful 🤗

Frozen blueberries in a blender with sugar and heavy cream = the best ice cream ever. I grew up with several blueberry bushes and ate this all season as a child.

To cut down on the ice crystals that may form, I'd recommend adding 1 or 2 Tbsp of vodka to the mix. You can't taste it, but the alcohol prevents ice crystals from forming, keeping the ice cream creamy.

You can also simply combine mixed blueberries with water to get a perfect and slowly-cooldown ice cream. When you combine ½ mixed blueberries with ½ sugar, you make jam, and by adding any milky product to it, you get a sorbet

@@CharlieFA A sorbet is originally a drink out of water, sugar and lemon established in France 1700 and roughly 100 years ago they added booze switched up the fruit and froze it. Just because somebody added milk doesn't make it a sorbet tho. Or is a lemonade still a lemonade when you add milk? Besides it's so counterproductive. We literally have a name for this kind of frozen desserts it's called ice cream if it contains milk or cream and if you add egg yolks to the milk/cream it's a frozen custard but it definetly never is a sorbet. I guess ice cream doesn't sound fancy enough...
