Cherry Jam
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Cherries 600 gms
-Cheeni (Sugar) ½ Cup
-Lemon juice 1 & ½ tbs
-Lemon zest 1 tsp
Directions:
-Wash thoroughly,drain,pat dry and pit the cherries.
-In blender jar,add half quantity of cherries and blend to make a puree & set aside.
-Chop the remaining pitted cherries into chunks.
-In heavy bottom wok,add cherries chunks,prepared puree,sugar,lemon juice,mix well and cook until sugar is dissolved (approx. 10 minutes).
-Add lemon zest,mix well and cook on low flame for 15 minutes and keep mixing in between & check by ice cold plate technique method.
-Transfer cherry jam to sterilized jar.
-Let it cool (yields 250 gms).
-Can be stored for up to 1 month in refrigerator.

Ajza:
-Cherries 600 gms

-Lemon zest 1 tsp

-Cherries ko dho ker pat dry ker lein aur seeds nikal lein.
-Blender jar mein cherries ki half quantity dal dein aur blend ker ka puree tayyar ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Baqi bache hoye cherries ko chunks mein chop ker lein.
-Heavy botton karhai mein cherries chunks,tayyar puree,cheeni aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur cheeni ghul janay tak paka lein (approx. 10 minutes).
-Lemon zest dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur halki ancch per 15 minutes kliya paka lein aur bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein & ice cold plate technique method sa check ker lein.
-Sterilized jar mein cherry jam ko dal dein.
-Thanda ker lein (yields 250 gms).
-1 month tak refrigerator mein store ker saktay han.
