Homemade Continuous reflux still, construction overview and testing.

One of my old clients decided to upgrade his old stripping still that I built for him a few years ago.
He asked me if it would be possible to convert the continuous stripping still into a continuous reflux still? My reply - everything is possible in this world.
So this video is about the still upgrade.

Спасибо за коммент, версия на русском скоро выйдет тоже, ни один Киви не смог определить что я оригинально русскоязычный, полагают что я скорее из голландии или франции -живу в Новой Зеландии более 20ти лет и мой акцент скорее Зеландский диалект, не путать с американским протяжным акцентом с проговариванием буквы "R" в конце слов. тут слова произносят не растягивая, короче и более внятно но очень быстро, из за чего всё сливается, буква R, в конце слов не проговариваются, русский акцент характерен рыканьем, и твердым произношением согласных, как и шотландский диалект, но там буква "с" происносится более похожей на ш, и то что вы видите по телевизору в новостях или кино не имеет ничего общего с реальностью, все актеры обучаются трансатлантическому акценту, вот вариант английского от носителя обратите внимание как на квадратный язык корреспондента так и на реальный английский говор фермера: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pprXYYKhg9VqqZo

Does your build include copper? I heard it is important element to remove sulfide gases and compounds from vapours. Without it it , gases can reach deadly levels. Stay safe

how do you clean the inside of the tubes when you are done with your distillation

One can run water instead of wash to rinse, also there some drain points, and just for the information, we are running a similar column once a week for the experiment, the column was built back in 2007 and never was cleaned inside since then. The steam generator is cleaned with vinegar from time to time.
