My father used two bent brazing rods. My grandfather used a fresh willow branch. Together they did dozens of wells for themselves and each one was very good. They built houses on speculation. The well that my father taught me on, was the best. It was about 100 feet deep and didn't need a pump. It also was the best tasting water. When I did my well for my house it was scary because all of the wells in the neighborhood were very deep and poor production. I hired a friend of a friend who used plenty of flush water. At 85 feet he hit 10 gallons per minute. I had him drill to 200 feet and set the pump at 150 feet. The phreatic surface is only 12 feet down. Those are very nice rods and an interesting video. I personally think that it is the dowser that is important. Good Luck, Rick

When I was a kid, some old guy was walking around our field with some magic sticks. My grandpa was gonna pay the guy $200 to find the perfect spot to drill a well because this guy had 100% accuracy for the 40yrs he'd been dowsing in our county. Then I explained to grandpa how aquifers worked and that we were sitting on one the size of 3 states, and he kicked the guy off the property. Then he just picked a spot next to the house, dug a well, and boom! Water!!! I guess my grandpa was magic too. 🤣

Nice video, need to mention that you must not insulate the rod with sellotape or anything, the base that holds tre rod, should make a "circuit" with your hands. Imagine the rods as the extended antenna of your body. Also every human is unique to the amount of energy, something that you can measure it with a simple multimeter at millivolts. Then after you construct the rod, through practice, you keep adjust the length of the L rod and adding at the tip various precious metals like silver or gold. In time you realise how important are all those details. Of course the rods are working, no matter what anyone who dont believe it, or doesn't know that object at all. But always remember that the rods just help you to get as close is possible to your target, after that you gonna need a decent metal detector to pinpoint the target. I have huge experience on this as i manage to find small little'treasures' , for example: ppl back in time didn't have banks to deposit valuables, nuggets, juels and money-coins, so they keep em at small leather bags, mostly, when they travel around, or they hide em at places in or out of their homes and when they travel and see you n distance something, they quickly hide that little bag in a place that doesn't change much in time, like a big rock or old big tree or a water fountain etc.... So none f you can find annold path and can imagine how ppl act back in old the mes, you'll see where is possible to hide something valuable. I use to construct very reliable dowsing rods for a lot of ppl and many of them manage also to find old ' wallets' with silver , gold coins and other precious things. I still make em and also have a nice collection of old gold, silver and copper based coins and relics. U can ask me anything....😉

Thank you very much for this informative video! What machine are you using as a lathe/drill press and do you have any suggestions on how to drill the holes by hand without them going squirrelly? If you're looking for groundwater table, call any well drilling company in your area. They all know how deep the water table is in each area. If you're looking for a water line, call 811. If it's a private line, guess and grab a shovel. That's all you're doing with the sticks anyway, but at least you won't look stupid.

Thanks love your video on this. I think the way you made the rods with the swivel is really great but, when my friend Randy made them up he just took two coated welding rods and simply bent them and held them loosely enough I suppose that they worked for him and my wife. But I am going to make up a set from your design.....maybe that will work for me. Hope so. Will let you know. Thanks again.

The dowsing rods built in this video cannot gauge with precisely deciphering what is being dowsed. Read and study the book, The At of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik, for learning all of the physics involved in dowsing and how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that accurately gauges what is being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizing of the one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is attached on the elevated acetylene with being located five-inches from the hub's shaft. This precisely gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading of the dowsed element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Anybody can become a professional dowser by practicing the book's dowsing lesson of buried pipelines and electrical cables, tunnels and voids, precious metal placer and lode deposits, dowsing for treasure, dowsing for any element, amplified long distance dowsing from a moving vehicle, and dowsing on water from a boat.
