Hi love your cottage pie looked so yummy I love cottage pie but my grown up son doesn't so it's not often I make it .the maker of cottage pie mix does a lovely savory mince pack my grown up son will eat stew not with stew meat but mince in it I do it in slow cooker and I have half left so we have it the next day too love fran xxxx❤❤❤❤❤

I add black pepper and a teaspoon of marmite into my shepards pie/ cottage pie and a tin of chopped tomatoes. But i dont use the packet mix.
