Homemade, DIY Dishwasher & Laundry Detergent | Easy, Non-Toxic, Budget Friendly | Natural Homemaking

Follow along as we test out both a homemade dishwashing and laundry detergent. These recipes are super easy, cheap, and really effective! If you're tired of dumping money into "clean & natural" products from the store, give these a try.
Dishwashing detergent recipe:
2 parts washing soda
2 parts baking soda
1 part salt
1 part citric acid
15-20 drops of choice essential oil (optional)
Laundry detergent recipe:
2 parts washing soda
2 parts baking soda
2 parts borax
1 bar of soap, grated (we used castile soap)
15-20 drops of choice essential oil (optional)
