Looks good. I did almost exactly the same a couple of years ago. I put a 2.5hp outboard on and was hoping to achieve 10mph. Had a few issues with ventilation of the prop. Ultimately it didn’t have the right combination of planing area, too much rocker and not enough power to make is go fast. I haven’t found anyone else who’s tried this. Your use for it is much better and more suitable than trying to create a 2.5hp ‘speed’ boat.

Looking good, I have 2 questions: 1) What kind of glue did you use to attach the board to the paddles 2) What do you think about putting both ends of the paddle vertically instead ? As in rotating the paddle by 90 degrees so it faces downwards ?
