Question. Is this usually used for red stew? I bought some from 🇬🇭 and it makes my red stew very sweet. I used some in the past from a local market in Brooklyn and it made the stew/jollof delicious rather than sweet.

You may remove the shells before roasting, it’s easier this way. The taste will not change. I leave the shells on because it helps give volume 🙏🏽😘

Nanaaba's Kitchen I’m most definitely inspired. Thank you so much for your help and kindness. You have no idea how great of an impact you’ve made into my life. As a college student in Florida, the burgers and fries have become too much in my diet and I realised it wasn’t helping me at all and most importantly I miss my home in Ghana. Not only do your recipes make me feel at home, but the fact that you understand the situation most people in the diaspora are in. For example, you don’t use some ridiculously rare ingredients like momone or bush meat or grass cutter in your meals knowing very well that there’s no way we can get those things especially in Florida. Thank you so much.
