Homemade Fish Finger Sandwich

Can't beat homemade fish fingers for a butty. It looks delicious and moreish. Tip: Use a good quality 'Soda Water' for the batter. It'll lighten up the batter for a crispier finish. Also a No Sugar Lemonade will give you a lemon taste batter. Use a bread cube to test the oils ready or not. If it sizzles it's ready. Cheers Keith 👍🤤😀

Hello everybody! Welcome! Now! Oh yesssssss!!! Everybody is each to their own, and for me putting the fish on toasted, dried out bread is a definite no... has to be freshly buttered (proper butter not margarine, yukk), salt and vinegar on the fish, ketchup, delicious!! I'd not personally put lettuce and tomato with it, nor tartare sauce and to be honest, I'd have made the batter a bit thinner, and made with ice cold water to get it very crispy as they do in a fish and chip shop.. Main thing is, it's YOUR food, not mine, so you make it as you like it.. I'm just voicing my worthless opinion!! I was hoping to see you do the fakeaway Subway, but you obviously changed your mind and made it a curry wrap instead

Great video as usual Keith. Will be trying these. Hope you and Nat are keeping well. Just a hopefully helpful hint ....I was told by a chef that you should never use a glass chopping board with sharp knives. It blunts them. Wood or plastic is best.😊

Keith fish fingers look delicious I've eaten but could definitely eat again maybe needed more mayo because bread was thick also fish is nice with vinegar but it all looked scrumptious to me l wouldn't complain sending love to Nat ♥️♥️♥️😋😋😋

Encona West Indian Hot Pepper sauce is absolutely superb on a fish finger sandwich, albeit perhaps not with tartare (?). Lovely looking sandwich.
