hello, Im following your step correctly but i have a problem when you short 2 pin in arduino Uno, after i following the step my arduino uno is connected but named "unknown device" what should I do??

hi brother, the tutorial is very nice and easy to follow but i want to make it so can i use the chinese wavgat boards instead of the genuine uno boards because i dont have the money to buy a genuine one

The Chinese Unos usually don't have the reprogrammable communication chip the genuine ones do. Th CH340 can't be reprogrammed to work as a HID.

This setup doens't work for me, My pc doesn't detect it as a Joystick, but only as a ATMega16U2

You need to flash the atmega16u with batch program in order to make it work

Hi, I'm getting an error when I run the TurnIntoAJoystick.bat file! It says "AtLibUsbDfu.dll not found". Is this normal? Can it be fixed? Thanks! (My Arduino is still detected by the IDE so I don't think it's broken)

Nice video! Could you please explain what kind of potentiometers you used and why the schematic shown has 4 potentiometers if the hardware you showed while flying the plane had only 3 potentiometers?

I added a line in a code to add fourth potentiometer , you need just to duplicate a line that is responsible for defining axis

I didn't get why you would want to do this. Is Leonardo/Micro not available for purchase for everyone, was that it? Impressive work and good video nevertheless. I am about to build a very custom joystick and throttle system for a cockpit - essentially building my own force feedback system. Anything that can inspire or give ideas is interesting so this will def. be one to bookmark and rewatch! Thanks for great work!

Hi, Which Uno did You use? I have the R3 version, and it's not working, cuz it has AtMega328P chip, not like Leonardo and Micro.

Which communication chip does it have? If it's a CH340 series, you can't reprogram it to work as a joystick.
