Nice job. You really didn't need to step up on your drill sizes. Center drill and 1/2" would have been fine. You were going to bore it anyways and its aluminum so you wouldn't have any problems. Looking really good.

Hi JH, Can you please send me a copy of your drawings. What I am really interested in is a large arbor series. But your drawings will give me a starting point. Please specify tolerances, aluminum type, and any specifics on types of press fits if any. I wont be ready to start for about six months but need to glean as much info as possible. I have all the bells and whistles i.e. cnc, mill, lathes manual and cnc; 16 in grinder and 20 inch automatic grinder , shaper etc. I subscribe to all the hi-tec machining sites, Lipton, Renz ,Gotswinter etc. Do you have an email address ???
