Very nice looking spool...Tibor second generation design is timeless..I would do the same style if I will ever have the chance..You will use flanged bearings?

Eduardito, I was unfamiliar with the Tibor design you talked about so I googled it. It may sound hard to believe but I designed my spool based on what I thought would be easily machinable for me. Its crazy how similar it looks to the Tibor.... And the bearings are standard sealed radial bearings.

Love the work, been wanting to build one of my own. Do you have any plans or prints you'd be willing to share or even sell?
@jhreels8748 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, right now as I wrap this project up, I've been making alot of as-built changes to the plans. When its complete (and I have tested it) I might be able to put something together.

Love the videos and glad to have come across them. I'm a mechanical engineering student and am looking to learn more about these kinds of projects. My dream is to work for Sage or a similar company. I'd love to chat via email or phone sometime about your experiences. Is there a good way to contact you without having to give out personal contact info on a thread? Not a scammer just really interested! Thanks
