This is completely awesome. I especially like how you made all your own parts too. I wish i had such skill and knowledge. My hat is off to you!

I was wondering when I would see a video from you again. Your "How to make a forge" videos were really helpful to me. This video didn't disappoint either.

Dear Santa, please bring this man a lathe, mill, and drill press, as he deserves it way more than others with much more money, less talent, and less determination.

Haha, thanks! I would love all of those things, however there is something special about making something like this with hand tools.

My shop is pretty well equipped but sometimes, when i make a small knife i like to go at it with a file and sandpaper because it is a much greater pleasure when you are done.

OMG so much by hand, so much dedication. I also massively love the button design. However I will learn the lesson that you need to 100% plan and template with a folding knife. Can't wing it as much as a fixed blade. As I embark on my own attempt.

I'm so convinced to not to make a button assisted folding knife ever. Very good video.

Pretty fricking cool!!! If you wanted to do a assisted open you could grind a "Wave" into the spine of the blade that would catch on you pocket when you pull it out. That is if you had went with the liner lock.

clkindred Have you ever thought about making another Kershaw Blur blade? If it ever happens, I would love to see an experiment where a flipper tab is added to the blade design. This would add a great opening method and possible finger guard. I have one and it would work if the flipper was positioned right behind where the edge grind ends. Just a thought. beautiful work you do, wish you had more videos.

Nice. You should keep an eye out for one of those 25% off Harbor Freight coupons and get yourself on of those little lathes they sell. PS. Where can you go to see how the folding knife mechanism works? Did you find a plan for that somewhere? Anyway great job.
@clkindred7 жыл бұрын
CrankyFrankie59 I saw the mechanism in a utility knife, as well as button fired automatic knives. I might make another video detailing the mechanism.
