Food gifts are a great idea. Better than anything ready made from a supermarket. I'd prefer to be given food than something I won't use later. Moreover, it's a great idea for someone who doesn't have a lot of money to spend on gifts.

I think I’m definitely going to try the biscotti. I still haven’t watch the other ones yet but to me as a general rule when I’m making anything let alone for other people I always tie my hair up because there’s nothing worse than finding hair in your food.

My grandson is 10 and dairy, soy, gluten free so I make a special effort to bake from scratch things that he can eat. Your Biscotti treats look amazing and so do the other goodies. Going to bake him some Biscotti for Christmas. We make homemade cranberry sauce, my daughter-in-law makes here’s with pears which is delish. Really enjoyed your video along with your giggles. 🎄🙏😘✨🛍🍷🥰

I know that you are tall, does it hurt your back to work at your beautiful island counter? I happened upon a great ,thick vintage cutting board that was on chunky, wooden bun feet at a yard sale. After sanding, bleaching and washing it so that I could use it for cooking, I discovered that it raised the height up for me so that my back didn’t hurt anymore (as it did with my regular counter height). So what was originally purchased for the “cute” factor, turned out being a life saver👍

Hi Madeleine! Thanks for the recipes. We made the chutney (but replaced the mixed spice and cinnamon with speculaas spice mix) and it turned out really tasty! Everything looks so pretty, love the sprig of holly! I've never made chutney before. I did make homemade peach and strawberry preserves as well as Colemans mustard, so delicious. I just baked zucchini walnut, banana pecan & pumpkin breads. I also just made oatmeal, date, pecan cookies by Betty Crocker with a yellow cake mix base and two granolas: a date hazelnut and a molasses pecan, Alton Brown's recipe.

Biscotti will last for around a week in an air tight container. Think of it like biscuits - they’ll go stale after a couple of weeks. And chutney will stay fresh for ages as long as they aren’t opened! 6+ months
