Hey Everyone,
This time, I am going to share how to make very easy and super spicy but very tasty Homemade Indonesian Spicy Chili Paste. This recipe only used three main ingredients, and with very simple seasoning.

I remember my Indonesian friend made me the sauce with chicken that was fried & boiled eggs & shrimps all cooked with the sauce best dish i had ever eaten. But i remember my friend used a mortar & Pestle then fried the sauce. Thankyou for the memories i experience. God Bless 🙏💜🙏💜🙏💜🎉

This actually an INDIAN dish from state of MAHARAASHTRA.... usually known as THECHHA.... the same process same ingredients everything is same.... and we eat THECHHA from thousands of years....

How long can you keep this in room temperature and also in the fridge? Thanks

2-3 days depends on the water in fridge , around a week

Master Snu thabk you. I won’t be putting in shrimp paste so I guess this will help with the storage time in the fridge? Just chili, shallots, garlic, tomatoes, salt and sugar. Thanks again

@@MyWanderlustLife Hi Catherine Lim, thank you so much for stopping by in my channel. And sorry for very late reply. Well i never put it in the room temperature for more than 3 hours. I keep mine up to a week in the refrigerator. But if you want to keep it longer you can possibly freeze it for up to 4-6 months. Because if you keep it in zero degree, it will last longer. I hope this clarification is useful. Thank you!

Two or three days at most, and you can use this sambal as recipe for fried rice if there is still leftover sambal.

It's known as Shezwan souce in India ...every one loved it ...it's so spicy and little bit sweet also

We use different sambal for Bakso...this sambal is for Food with Rice

Put it in a jar and keep it refrigerated. it will last for about a month.

Easy recipe, why not grind the the ingredients and then fry it ? rather than fry and then grind and fry the paste again ?

Keep in refrigerator with closed jar if want sambal for a long time and you can re-heat the sambal before using it again.

You can add chicken broth and can use blender instead, whatever you want it to

There are many ways to prepare sambal, not always as a paste, and you can leave the stock cube or trassie, or you can add dried fishpowder like anchovis, chickenpowder, other spices and herbs. It even can be raw ..... so many flavours and uses. Delicious !
