"Tiresome and slow" with a file..? Why not use your angle grinder with the flap disc you are using at 4:15.. it will take about 20 seconds to sharpen both ends..

I have been using the "All American" blade sharpener for several years now, and I think your version is far better!!! Yours is more convenient to use and the mechanism appears to be more rigid! Overall, a better idea, I wish I had one of yours instead! Congratulations!

Your build shows what the All American Sharpener really is... cheaply made, overpriced junk. Everything on your jig is way more heavy duty and your blade clamp is %100 better.
