It's a nice video for the people who are really interested in gardening. Especially incorporation of pseudomonas,VAM are really needed for the soil to get rejuvenated. When I was in marketing agri inputs I came across liquid based azatobacter,phospobacterium and rhyzobium. These I have laid out trails in entire Tamilnadu agrarian fields and proved the efficacy of it. Kindly find out any one making this liquid based cultures and post the address of that concern so that interested people can use it.I worked with one company by name International Panecea which brought out these products but unfortunately the company chose to do an agressive marketing which has resulted in failure. These types of products cannot be sold just like that as the case of pesticides and fertilizers; where as it needs concept selling which that company couldn't understand so they havekilled the product.

Wow sir, I really appreciate your positive comment with the right in base experience u have with the farmer, that really boosts me a lot. In market liquid microbial are also available but those will be useful for instant usage as my fertilizer is a long term storage base I was decided to use powder form. As you said, the results of using these can or trichoderma or pseudomonas showed a wonderful results in my trials, as a matter of fact I'm an Agronomist and as u said the trials by u proved positive rerenergates the power of these microbial ingredients. Thanks for watching. I testify that the excellency of my homemade organic fertilizer is purely attained by using these vam, pseudo, tricho etc. Thank you. Keep watching my vids.

@SimpleGardening2 жыл бұрын
Firstly, thanks for liking the video. For your quesrion ..... No you should not use grounded mustard seeds for the below reasons.... a. The seed contains oil and it attracts ants and fungus. b. It's expensive to use seed as a fertilizer. c. Ungrounded seeds will germinate and turns out to be weeds. d. Nutrient absorption or availability will be less as compared with deoiled cakes. e. Grounded seed usage may increase the soil pH drastically. Its advisable to use deoiled cakes as a fertilizer

I have kept lemon in 12 inch pot. Fair enough?
@SimpleGardening4 жыл бұрын
No problem 12 inch is a good size for young lemon trees, but when its 3 or 4 years old it's better to replace into 14 or 16 inch diameter pot. Plants fruits even in 6 inch pots but the productivity depends on the final pot size while its fruiting. And all the very best in growing your lemon tree hope it yields good fruits. Be carefull and consider 8n terms of potting mix and irrigations and finally fertilizer application. Happy gardening

This video is one of the best. Thank you for explaining so elaborately and so well. I need suggestions from you. I have a small school and my children collect lot of eggshell banana peel and onion peels. I encourage children to grow own vegetables. Please suggest me a formulation of a complete organic fertilizer with above materials and other ingredients with microbes etc.
@SimpleGardening4 жыл бұрын
I appreciate🙏🙏 your zeal in encouraging your students in growing their own food. Firstly eggshell contain calcium and little bit of phosphorus however an egg takes 3 months to decompose and supply nutrients. Regarding banana it takes 30 days to decompose and contains majority of pottasium and minimum traces of Nitrogen and phosphorous. Onion peels are rich in pottasium and calcium and gets decomposed easily. For easy decomposing process of above said ingredients u need a Nadep compost pit( Google Nadep for easy understanding) and I'd u think its complimentary ated just dig a pit of 3 feet x 3 feet and add crushed egg shells and cut pieces of banana peels along with some desi cow dung or sheep manure and close it with paddy straw and within 30 days very rich fertilizer will be ready. All the very best

So beautifully explained .... Is sheep manure and VAM common? What are the options for these two?
@SimpleGardening4 жыл бұрын
Sheep manure is the excreta of sheep and VAM is the power house of microbes. To be precise with VAM sheep manure nutrients becomes more easily available to the plants. VAM is available at ur local pesticide dealer or else u can opt online from Amazon. Sheep manure is available freely at farmers. Thanks for watching.

Hello Sir, Is it suitable for cymbedium orchids?
@SimpleGardening Жыл бұрын
It's better to give liquid fertilizers to orchids because the substrate we use to grow orchids is not soil...mostly coconut husk is used so powder or granular form organic fertilizers need microbes to get available...which is not possible in case of orchids. So use a liquid organic fertilizer like fish fertilizer or seaweed fertilizer. Happy Gardening 😊

Sir my question is how we can store I try to made these but after one day it start heating up and I found fertilizer mix have fungus on it
@SimpleGardening3 жыл бұрын
It's very common to observe fungal growth on the fertilizer, I can say that's good fungus which helps the plants a lot. The main reason for this fungal growth is we are using Trichoderma, psuedomonas and VAM hence the spores in those bioagents will develop if any moisture is present in the product. U can just mix it up so that it will be contained in the fertilizer or else u can sundry the fertilizer which will not impact the fertilizers efficiency. Thanks for making the recipe. Happy Gardening
@dr.mahimatripathy78352 жыл бұрын
Sir can you suggest a chemical mixture fertilizers useing urea,potash, ssp,micronutrients, dap,npk.And how to and how often I should use it according to pot size.Also can you say that how to use this organic and inorganic fertilizer mix at what interval in a month ?
@SimpleGardening2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking. Let's look into NPK % of the fertilizers you mentioned. Urea has 46% Nitrogen (N), Potash has 50% K and SSP has 16% Phosphorous, DAP has 18% N and 46% P. Micronutrients are completely different fertilizers. My recommendation is instead of mixing different straight fertilizers, use complex fertilizers like 16:16:16 NPK fertilizers which feed the plants equally. While using chemical fertilizers be careful and use them wisely for a 12 inch pot and should use not more than 10 grams once in 20 days or a month. It's not required to mix organic and chemical fertilizers as it increases the nutrient content in the soil and it leads to over fertilization which may not impact the plant but the nutrients will not be absorbed by the plants. However, if you want to mix the fertilizers you mentioned in ur question then you can follow the below said blend and the proportions give you a 14:14:14 NPK . Urea -600 grams DAP- 500 grams SSP- 800 grams SOP- 750 grams Total - 2.65 kilos of mixed fertilizer and as per their NPK the blend gives us 14 14 14 NPK. USE 10 grams per12 inch pot once a month and during plants productive stage use once in 20 days. Apply the fertilizer 3 inch away from the plants stem/trunk and mix it with the top layer of soil and after applying water immediately. The less we apply chemical fertilizers the better the plant health. Happy Gardening
@dr.mahimatripathy78352 жыл бұрын
@@SimpleGardening Thankyou so much for the brief and perfect explanation about the chemical fertilizers.One more question that can I spray micronutrients ,or Epsom salt on leaves at the same time of adding this chemical fertilizer mixture to plant.Also if I want to increase NPK value then what should be the amount of NPK 202020 added to this mixture.Then what will be the best preferred dose and frequently on a 12 inch pot ?
@SimpleGardening2 жыл бұрын
Epsom salt is Magnesium ( its a Secondary macro nutrient) and micronutrients are completely different and plant need these micronutrients in very little trace amounts and they contain Boron, Zinc, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Molybdenum, Chlorine. Scientifically and practically there is no impact on plant when you apply NPK/Epsom and Micronutrients at the same time but in my opinion its better to maintain a gap of 2 days or more between both the applications. For a 20-20-20 NPK mix 170 grams Urea, 280 grams DAP and 220 grams Muriate of Potash (Red colored fertilizer). Use 10 to 12 grams per 12 inch pot and apply once in 30 days. Mix well in the soil and water your pots immediately. My advise is.... instead of using these soil based chemical fertilizers and increase the salinity of soil and negatively impact the microbial population in the soil, I would recommend to use 19-19-19 water soluble fertilizer once in 10 to 15 days and its dosage 8 to 10 grams per liter of water and you can either spray on plant or drench the soil, its fast acting and had low slat %. I use only organic fertilizers for my plants. Happy Gardening
@abelgenjucar20663 жыл бұрын
Is it necessary to complete those items ,to make a complete home made fertilizer.
@SimpleGardening3 жыл бұрын
No it's not mandatory. U can just use only groundnut cake powder which contains 7.3% Nitrogen, 1.8% phosphorous and 1.5% pottasium. U can mix geoundnut cake powder with Neem cake powder or mustard cake powder or bone meal it's as per ur liking and the availability of these products at your location. NPK of 4:3:2 is very much sufficient for any type of plant. Thanks for watching and happy Gardening 😊
@javahharreddivanga19493 жыл бұрын
Sir, will it dissolve in water ? If so then it is very convinient to drip irrigated orchards, and how many ltrs. Water required to dissolve one k.g. of powder ?
@SimpleGardening3 жыл бұрын
Glad u liked the video. This fertilizer does not dissolve in water but you can ferment/ brew the fertilizer in water for 24 hours and later filter it and drip it for plants. 1 kilo fertilizer is sufficient for 15 to 20 litres water. The residue can be added to the base of trees too. To be frank, I had used this in solid form only to my plants but not in liquid form so if u try this in liquid applications pls let me know the results too. Happy Gardening 😊

Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (VAM) is a fungus which has the ability to dissolve the phosphates found in abundance in the soil. Apart from increasing the availability of phosphorus, VAM provides the plants with the necessary strength to resist diseases and unfavourable weather conditions. You can get it at your local pesticide dealer shop or can opt Amazon online. It cost around 85 rupees per kilo offline. Steamed bone meal is the byproducts of animal or slaughter house. The animal bones are collected and cooked under high steam and are pulverised into powder called steamed bone meal and it's very rich in phosphorus and calcium. If u prefer vegan then u can opt Rock phosphate instead of bonemeal. Thanks for watching

Sir, would urge you to use Jaggery and decompose with them, it give excellent results. Also would appreciate, if you can get these tested in the lab, for the nutrient content to testify your claims. All these organic matter have many minerals and micronutrients, that could also substantiate your claims. Will be useful for the viewers, Thanks.
