Hi, a couple of comments - if some water gets into the boat, which its likely, it will get under the floor and under the foam, then rot it from the inside out. I suggest making the floor removable to get the foam out and let it dry after every use. Epoxy covering the hull on the inside will also help. For a new boat its a good idea to get it in the water, then fill it with water to see if there is enough buoyancy. This is called a buoyancy test and is good to do when its not an emergency. @@RayMAKES It should last for quite a long time if its Epoxy coated! If you enjoy if and want something longer lasting- It is common for Plywood sailing dinghies to have buoyancy tanks that have no foam, but use the air volume as boyancy. If it leaks a little, no problem as each one has a inspection hatch that's left out on land to let air circulate and dry it out. They also have "self bailers" in the bottom that suck water out as the boat moves forward whilst sailing. These double as drains to let rain water out when on land. If you have a cover to keep most of the rain out when its not in use it can last a very long time. My 1977 plywood amature built Miracle class dinghy that has fibreglass taped seams and has lived most of its life outdoors. No Epoxy resin back then, only 2 part Polyester resin.

Its 100% gonna fill up with water in the middle. You need to add drain holes all along the bottom so water can trickle back when you have it on the trailer. Keep it up! Loving the videos

Ray Pena Aha! Typical builder optimism. Im telling ya man, its 100% gonna fill up with moisture. No matter how well you sealed it. Moisture is a mofo on these things! The only way you can seal wood is by vaccuum bagging it and laminating over it. If you want it to last you need the drainage and treating/laminating the wood

You should check to see if the foam you are using is closed cell foam. Most foams can actually absorb water so the will no longer provide buoyancy. Wet foam will also rot the plywood.

I think the bow in the bottom might be caused by the boat sitting on the narrow base! The weight on the outside edge of the boat is not supported and is causing the middle to raise up! Not to be critical, but you probably should have put this tunnel frame in at the very beginning!
