Does your blowpipe have A check valve to prevent back flow. If so where can you get one.

Yes, there is a simple check valve. I made it myself. It is a small piece of leather at the point where the mouthpiece enters the bag. It folds open when you blow and then flaps back to keep the air in the bag.

You are right, you can hardly hear the bass. I think that's because those microphones in smartphones don't pick up low frequencies well. Anyway, great that you like the bagpipes!👍
