Hello Izzy Your channel was the second I saw regularly that inspires me ( Steve Ramsey does too) I really like your approach to woodworking that anyone can do it. I had a lot of tools and was not using them do gave them to a friend with a barn Now I want to make my own table saw from a circular saw I have had 2 strokes and my wife is more than a bit leary I will persevere Thanks for having the channel on KZbin Aaron

Now that's cool. The innovative things that your head thinks up are always cool as can be. First thing I wondered was what the neighbor that was busting your chops thought of you driving around with the neighborhood with a work piece tied off to your bumper. Hope he was offended. LOL

Random thought on your spiral, you ever consider epoxy filling it ? using your standard 2 part epoxy and mix it wth craft glitter to make maybe a gold or copper or what ever color filling for in your design to bring it out before you sand let it cure then sand and finish

Izzy! Really?!?! Using a CNC machine to produce parts that are used by hand with yet another router to replicate what a CNC should be doing in the first place? Very cool project but I'm confused hahaha! I really like the method used to distress the workpiece! Will have to try high speed turns in city traffic next to up the "cool" factor! Keep up the great work!
@izzyswan9 жыл бұрын
+Houston Firefox I will be using my cnc to build all kinds of jigs. it would take a very long time for me to cad out that pattern the spiro cut and i would be left with one pattern with the spiro there are hundreds of patterns i can create and havent even thought of yet and no time spent on cad program that can only cut one single pattern.

Coolio. If you could figure out how to motorize the gear plates it would take the jerky motion of following the plate since the force would be applied low instead of up on the router handle.

Couldn't you put gear tooth pattern on out side of large one with a gear and bearing fixed to router to run around it to hold it to teeth on the inside so you wouldn't have to push it out to try to hold it too inside teeth as hard
