Great build! I like that robotic lawn mower, very few of them actually cut in straight lines and most do a crappy job.

Thank you 😁 The robot can really handle it, although I haven't used other mowing robots before, so I don't know if they would handle my lawn like this one :)

The majority of the competition including husqvarna use not much more than razor blades to mow, and basically only groom the lawn, continually. This is one of the few mowers on the market that cam actually.mow real grass. in @henkofzo118

The only thing I see that could potentially be a problem is there is not a breather on the vibration mechanism. Heat can build up and cause the seals to blow out from pressure building up. Awesome build though!

Thank you 😁 There is a vent, it was very difficult to show it. The hole I drilled to attach the wheel is very deep, I drilled a hole in the middle of the shaft I then drilled another hole next to the pulley keyway :)

Great job as always-and I don't recall being disappointed with the outcome of one of your builds. The "built-in dolly" function is really practical-especially when it's hot and it has to be moved a fair distance. God bless. 👍 Btw; *slightly* wetting down soil that's dry [like yours], will help give a better result.

Failures also happen and this applies to the vehicle that is trying to finish it for the third time, but it doesn't give up 😁 The machine was created spontaneously, I wasn't sure if the mechanism would cope, to make this machine I used old sheet metal, leftover pipes and rods, even the engine has for several years now. Fortunately, everything works and the vibrating mechanism turned out to be a bit too strong because the machine moves too fast and we have to brake it 😂
@dennisobrien3618
@dennisobrien3618 3 ай бұрын
@@WorkshopFromScratchit seems like you could make different weights for the vibrating assembly to customize it until it's how you want it, especially since you made the weight removable and not just welded onto the shaft (if it's even worth that much trouble, depending on how much you'll use it). Great build!
