To all the people who are hating on how she eats, you can click off the video. She’s eating the way she wants to eat and doesn’t care who likes it or not. Traditions never die and my family being from the Middle East, we eat a lot with our hands. Nothing disgusting, just tradition. Keep doing you granny!!!!!!!
@hey12326 жыл бұрын
I'm Ethiopian & eat a lot with my hands.....Traditionally, Ethiopian food is eaten with the hands. This is done by tearing off some injera and using it to scoop up some food and then eat all of it....Yes, traditions will never die.

Yes Granny Karma!! Come through!! Now that's my southern comfort right there! I'd rather have pinto, white northern, or navy beans! I'm a city slicker with southern roots! I also eat my greens with my fingers! My great grandmother use to make my family drink the pot liquor to keep from getting upset stomachs and colds.. We also kept Frank's hot sauce and hot pepper vinegar on the counter.. Gotta have it!!

You can REDUCE that cooking time for ham hocks by adding a couple sheets of ALUMINUM FOIL to cover the pot along with the lid. I promise you that ir will reduce your cooking time almost like a pressure cooker. I learned that it will cut the time to a little over ONE HOUR. TURN YOUR BURNER OFF AND COMPLETELY COVER YOUR POT...... IT WILL ACTUALLY COOK ITSELF NEARLY ONE MORE HOUR THE REST OF THE WAY MAKING THE MEAT EXTREMELY MOIST & FALL OFF THE BONE TENDER!!!!!

I just subscribed to your channel and I read some of the comments and I hate that people are so mean. I am born and raised in Colorado my parents were from Texas and I know they stop doing a lot of what you do, but when I arrived in Louisiana it was a different ball game. THEY EAT EXACTLY HOW YOU DO. I thought knew southern cooking until I came here and I often frowned upon this type of eating, but God gave me an understanding of what slaves had to do. I thank you for education. I thank you for being BLACK!

The way you ate the collard greens is similar to how Nigerians eat fufu except they have some pounded yam (play doh - mashed potato like consistency) to scoop up the okra spinach and meat fufu soup, so gooood

Then I wash okra until NO slime . I do this for all dishes that requires okra ,my family love it! Thank God Grandpa Karma is going home and I Thank God for YOU! All that you're going through with Grandpa Karma and still make time out for us,what a BLESSING YOU ARE💖 I will continue my prayers for you and Grandpa Karma.Sending Love from Texas💖💖😍😘

I especially love the haters. They have purpose and that is to love them pray for them but NEVER pay that mess no mind!!! Lol!!! It’s a cultural thing as Granny stated at the beginning. Nigerians also eat w their hands as well as other Africans or cultures. Haters will hate but they are to remind us who are focused on living life that, the enemy still dwell under our feet. Love your videos!
