Those are not English sparrows. Its hard to id them on video, possibly a Cassins sparrow depending on your location, which is a native to N. America. Please just catch and release.

My dad made bird trap's just like this one,, This trap will catch birds that hop , If the bird walks it will not get traped, I remember getting up im the morning and there would be 15 birds in the trap,, PS, Dad would drive the birds to work with him and let them go there. We called it the elevator trap,

Jamie, house sparrows are an invasive species introduced from Europe years ago. They are super aggressive and kill our native bluebirds. They will actually go into a bluebird nest box, kill the babies or poke holes in the eggs, kill the parents, and make a nest on top of the dead bluebirds! I have years of experience of monitoring bluebird houses. The bluebirds are a very gentle native bird and rely on mankind to help them make their comeback. :)

I just came across your video. I hope you successfully launched your birds. My daughter found 4 baby sparrows the size of pink marshmellows. She fell madly in love with them but eventually taught them how to be completely on their own. She calls to them from her balcony and most times they come at least once a day. Sometimes one comes and sometimes all four. Eventually they will not come back. She did a wonderful job. They have to be free. As a matter of fact it is illegal in our state to trap live birds and keep them as pets.
