How to make spring roll wrappers
It is very interesting to learn how to make the spring roll wrappers. I really like the process and was very impressed how it turned out. If you can make it really thin, you will like the crunchy texture. I couldn’t make it as thin, I think I need the machine to help me do the hard work making it by making it flatter. Try it and you will be impressed too! 😊
✔️ spring roll wrapper
▪️ all purpose flour - 2 cups
▪️ corn starch - 2 Tbsp
▪️salt - 1/4 tsp
▪️ water - 1/2 cup + 3tbsp + 1 tap (175-180ml)
▪️ Cooking Oil and Brush
- you can make about large 12 spring roll wrappers or 16 smaller ones. If you can roll it thinner, it will be better 😊
You will only need 12-16 large shrimps size 13/15 depending on the size of your wrappers.
✔️ Shrimps Marinade ( 30 shrimps )
▪️ Large shrimps - 600 ( size 13/15 )
▪️ Chicken Powder - 1 tsp
▪️ Salt - 1/2 tsp
▪️ Sugar - 1 tsp
✔️ you can use egg white to seal the wrapper
✔️ you also can mix
- 1tsp all purpose flour and 2 Tbsp hot water to make it thick paste.
You will need to make double ingredients to make the wrappers or you can wrap the left over shrimps with store bought spring roll wrappers.
