Homemade Tallow Moisturizer 🧴

What we put on our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream - so it’s important to know what ingredients go into every day beauty products if you’re prioritizing your health.Ingredients:- 1 cup grass fed pasture raised beef tallow- 1 tbsp vitamin E oil- 1 tbsp olive oil- 1 tsp - 1 tbsp manuka honey (it does make texture a bit sticky so totally optional!)- optional: essential oil for scentRecipe:1. Add all ingredients to a cup2. Whip it all together3. Cover & store in a cool dry place :)

1.Shelf life? 2. Do you recommend this for your face? What can i use as a natural face cleanser before i apply this?

No more than 1yr for tallow, but adding oils may change that. Yes you can use it on your face, I like to spritz my face with rose water before melting the tallow in my hands and applying. This helps the tallow spread, especially if you're using tallow without oils. It's been the only thing to help my dry skin in winter and gives a beautiful glow. Try washing your face with just water, my skin has improved since doing this. If I wear sunscreen or makeup I just rub it off with organic Grapeseed oil (castor oil is a good cleanser too). Wipe away gently with a cloth and that's it. My skin is much plumper from doing this.
