Andris, just thinking; if you angled the bedplate upwards at the infeed, at the same angle as the unicorn screw, you could just roll the logs on and the screw would self-feed, split the logs, but not jam as the log gets pulled in towards the PTO. That would save you having to lift the logs and push them into the screw. Hah! You probably already thought of this, as it's 6 years ago (just catching up!)

Thanks Tony for checking out this old crap video and giving your advice, i actually took this thing apart years ago, it seemed like very unsafe and a sure way for a quick death, this thing is no-more 🤔😆

btw do you still have this log splitter ? it works amazing, only hand pressure to split the logs.... thats cool

It was too dangerous. I decided to dismantle it.

Does not look 👀 very safely but looks it split wood 🪵 withouth problems ⚠️, have been splitting wood with something similar but with electric motor as power source, do you used it now also ?
