So happy I found this channel. I actually found it by searching for information and videos on Japanese Tanks from the World Wars and Modern Japanese Tanks, you have some great videos on them... I recently started playing a game called Battlefield V and it's about the 2nd World War.. it really showed me a lot of different types of tanks that were used in WWII, when it came to a lot of them I had no idea they were used.... but boy am I glad that I found this video as well, this video was awesome. I've always wanted to see videos and reports done on the "custom" vehicles that some nations and groups use, like the ones in this video. Goes to show if you give people the will to do something and a reason to do it then they are going to do it... some of these vehicles are really good feats of engineering and some are horrible ideas that can't even stop a BB gun lol...

30:16 This thing was even used during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. Yugoslav airforce was in bad shape even before the attack started due to sanctions, lack of spare parts/maintenance and poor pilot training and as the bombing started, few jets that took off were no match for much more numerous and way more modern NATO planes. Then smb thought "Why waste their missiles" so they started using them like this in quite the numbers. They claim it was rather effective with a drawback - since it was air-to-air missile, the ranges were off due it having to be launched from the ground (gravity was the problem; on an airplane, it already defeated the gravity by its carrier plane and had some initial speed it lacked this way). As a result, these missiles would often go for the target they couldn't reach. The problem was solved partially by adding a booster engine, as we see here. Usually, it was a rocket motor from MLRS systems.

Man I had no idea that this war ended up causing over 140,000 deaths. Sad to say a lot of these are probably civilians that weren't fighting for either side but got caught in the middle. From what I have seen about the Bosnian War, it seems like there was mostly very close quarters fighting in a very Urban environment that was home to all the civilians unfortunately.It's also sad to say that tensions are starting to rise again in the Bosnia region. This is what made me look up some videos about the history of the Bosnian Civil War. I pray that we do not see fighting like The Bosnian Civil War in our future with Ukraine and Bosnia. Thank you for this amazing video. I learned a lot! Keep up the great work! Super excited I found your channel brother! In serbian j is pronounced like y, not like it would be in english also ć is pronounced like cj or cy, basically like ch but softer Fun fact, none of the restrictions applied to croatia, however they could not afford larger vehicles and ones they could were not sent to croats in bosnia, but, they had fuel, something serbs did not. Basically serbs would rent a tank to croats for a day or 2 to shoot at turks and than they would return it with a full tank. Later in the war this was not that common because ARBiH was not as strong and VRS got some fuel from FR Yugoslavia, but that was shortly before the war ended. Also Krajina wasn't really involved in bosnia, civil war in croatia is where they are classified Edit, i would say that VRS would be the main focus, alongside ArBiH also, Sarajevo was not completely cut off. Transalte did you dirty, in serbia for APC we simply say OT(Oklopni Transporter) Also, the way you say tank is timply tenk. Arkan a drug lord? There were 4 things arkan despised the most, those were cigarettes, alcohol, drugs and coffee, he declined anyone from joining his unit if they had even tried drugs once. Mauser was a clean guy,neither a gangster nor a drug lord. He was under command of VRS, not really a militia. Bofors M/70s and 60s were neither american nor swedish, they were license built in yugoslavia, i think they still areactually those were not type 63s those verer M-63 Plamen yugoslav MLRS those modified AA missile sytems have their name, RL-2 and RL-4M Praćka RSK fell to croatia alone, not bosnia crew of krajina ekspres was actually like 15+ people

The war in Bosnia 1992 was not a civil war. Bosnia was part of Yugoslavia as were other states such as Slovenia, Croatia and so on. When Tito died, Serbs had a wet dream of great Serbia. Other states disagreed and voted for impedance including Bosnia. Serbia in response attacked Slovenia, then Croatia and then Bosnia, and so on. Serbs and Croatians have their own country and because of this it was not a civil war. Many people in the Balkans identify themselves at birth according to their root, such as being Serbian, Croatian or Bosnian despite being born in opposing countries. This is unique to us Balkan people.

Hi. Good video with a lot of details about armor in former wars in Bosnia and Croatia. I just want to add one few thing or corrections for you. You are mixing those TAM truck very often. TAM-110 is a 4x4 while TAM-150 is a 6x6. You can search those here in KZbin for more details. TAM5000 is the one similar design as Opel Blitz or Magirus Mercur truck. Also 4x4. Another thing is the armored trains used in Krajina and north east Bosnia regions. There were two pieces of those. One of them was destroyed by Bosnian army in 1992 near Gradacac while the other one was mostly used in Krajina region and also attacked even 5th corps of Bosnian army in Bihac. There is also an Croatian MLRS as you mentioned based on TAM-150. That is not correct. It’s an Romanian imported APR-40 rocket launcher system with BM-21 grad missiles. This system was imported to Croatia just before operation Storm.

Warfare has changed so much but so little at the same time from the Bosnian Civil War era in the 90s... now even though more forces have access and are able to buy T-72/T-90 tanks and other armoured vehicles, the use of drones have really struck fear in the vehicle crews and operators. There's a lot of evidence out there, including video and pictures of what drones can do to a Main Battle Tank and if they do that much damage to a Main Battle Tank that has very good armor, you can only imagine what it looks like when they hit other vehicles, especially ones with no armor or very little armor. It depends on the type of ordnance the drones are carrying but some of these smaller drones can carry a very small explosive but people will have 100s of them and fly them all at once into the vehicle or building... even if you try to shoot them down you can never shoot down all of them fast enough. Drones made a huge impact in Syria and some other recent conflicts in The Middle East... giving you the ability to conduct very good reconnaissance or turn the drone into a flying bomb and flying it into a building or tank.

It shows that the Bosniak army was barely equipped with weapons since there was an embargo on weapons while Serbs had all the weapons left from Yugoslavia yet failed to win over people fighting in sneakers. That shows the courage and will of Bosniaks to survive against all odds.
@matovicmmilan Жыл бұрын
Why are you lying Turk-in-attempt? Yugoslav People's Army left Bosnia for Serbia & Montenegro in May 1992 while you the Mushlims already had organized paramilitary factions like the Patriot League, Green Berrets, "reserve police", etc. all of which were armed for over a year by that point! The so called "weapons embargo" was implemented against the Bosnian Serbs Republic which in reality was a total embargo on all goods including even basic medications while the UN/NATO progressively more openly armed and equipped you through all means for example branding the tons of weapons and ammunition "humanitarian assistance". Your Mushlim side suffered catastrophic defeats except when UN/NATO threatened the Bosnian Serbs with bombing and ground intervention if they didn't stop gaining more territory from you and return to the starting position! That way they saved you from losing Bihac, Gorazde and prevented the Bosnian Serbs Army advance in the vicinity of Sarajevo in 1993!
