"Pro tip" Please taste a drop of the liquid chocolate before refrigerating so that any taste issues could be corrected. If - 1. it smells like coconut - Add few more drops of vanilla essence. 2. it is a bit bitter to taste - Add some more pinches of milk powder (don't add sugar at this stage) I did the same and my chocolate was mouth watering. Thank me later 😉

@priyapuni5202
@priyapuni5202 2 жыл бұрын
@@mamatapatar7186 Okay. Firstly use a good quality extra virgin coconut oil which has almost neutral taste and "comparatively" less smell. Secondly if you think that it tastes like coconut oil probably your ratio isn't perfect like you would have poured more coconut oil in comparison to cocoa powder or milk powder. If yes, pl reduce the amount of oil used. Hope it helps ;) Thanks for asking ♥️

@@lavanyag5162 Adding milk is risky as it will gradually lower solidification temperature (milk isn't solid in the fridge for exemple). So your chocolate might never harden of you don't do it properly. There are a couple of recipes online you can check out though, but it is harder overall.

@John_Conner222
@John_Conner222 3 жыл бұрын
@@weddingdate3017 im not sure. I looked at several recipes and they were all the same and said that using milk caused a problem because of too much water. I made this chocolate a few nights ago but it wouldn't set. I left it out for 3 hours and it stayed liquid and only slightly thickened. When I put it in the refrigerator only then did it harden but leaving it back out again caused it to start to melt again. The only thing really holding this together was the coconut oil. Apparently temperature and tempering are really important but im not sure on milk and butter use. That's what I want to use but every recipe says not to.I found one asian recipe where it milk and butter was used but they boiled it and condensed it themselves. I didn't save it and I lost it. Ill have to do more trial and error and see what works. However the chocolate I made did taste good and it was good enough for me.

Before pouring mixture into mould use a grinder to grind it for 3 - 4 hours. Trust me you'll never buy chocolate from the shop anymore. You'll get a perfect silky smooth chocolate bar. Very useful if you make in larger quantity. It will be the best homemade chocolate.

Actually no, if it remains liquid in all temperatures (even cold) then don't use it because purpose of coconut oil is that it helps the chocolate to set so if your oil doesn't freeze then your chocolate won't set
